Hello! Welcome as we gather this morning for the Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost.  We are thrilled to be installing our new Interim Pastor, the Rev. Gerry Johnson. It's a very exciting time in the life of our church. Please come down and visit us. We would love to share the Gospel with you! As a church we have implemented an updated mission statement: "We, the Congregation Council of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, affirm that we are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming community, where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared with everyone, across all socio-economic statuses, cultures, ages, and identities, and where all feel welcomed, safe, supported, and loved.  This statement will guide us until we develop a church mission plan that will emphasize outreach to others in our community." Hello! Welcome as we gather this morning for the Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost. We are thankful that Pastor Cheryl Griffin is leading us again today in worship. We will welcome her back again next Sunday. As this is the 5th Sunday, we will take a special collection to benefit Bacon Street, a non-profit foundation who provides mental health and substance abuse to young people between the ages of 10 and 26.
