Weddings

We are pleased that you are interest in our church for your wedding, and we want to make your wedding a
joyful experience. Your wedding is, and should be, one of the happiest moments of your life. Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (OSLC) rejoices with you.

It is our hope to make every phase of your wedding one that you will remember with joy.

A church wedding is a service of worship,
where two people pledge their faith to each other and enter into a covenant with God. The wedding ceremony affirms this covenant with reverence and faith.

Planning a Wedding at OSLC

To start wedding planning at OSLC, first read over our Wedding Policies and Procedures

Then, check the availability of the pastor and the availability of the facilities well in advance, ideally before you've set a date. If you have set dates with other parties (other venues, photographers, etc.) before getting in touch with us, we cannot guarantee that our pastor or our facilities will be available that day.

The Minister of Music should be contacted by the couple at least three months in advance of the wedding. Other organists and musicians must be approved by the Minister of Music.

Fill out a Wedding Application and submit it to the office. The building(s) are reserved once we approve the Wedding Information form and we receive half of all building use fees.

Pastor Alex and Gigi (our Minister of Music) will work with you to put together the service - choosing readings, hymns, vows, etc.

Fees for Weddings at OSLC

OSLC Members

Members are not charged for the use of the building or the services of the pastor or minister of music. Members of OSLC are charged a cleaning fee of $100 per building.

Use of the Sanctuary for the Wedding - $500.00
Use of the Parish Hall (if needed) - $500.00
Use of Kitchen (if needed) - $500.00

Cleaning Fee - $100 per building

Staff Fees

Pastor (Wedding) - $250.00
Pre-Marital Counseling - $35.00
Organist (Wedding) - $250.00
Organist (Rehearsal) - $85.00
Organist (Rehearsal w/ other musicians) - $85.00
