Our committees aim to serve Christ, this church, and our community as we strive to make Christ known through outreach, education, and worship. Our committees work to empower following God's mission here and in the world. To get involved with a committee, contact the listed chair.

Parish Life
Committee
The parish life committee promotes and strengthens relationships at OSLC. The committee welcomes those new to OSLC and facilitates fellowship activities throughout the year. The hospitality committee offers care and support at OSLC.

Worship & Music Committee
The Worship and Music committee works with the pastor and the minister of music in planning the worship life of the congregation. They oversee the decoration of the worship space, the recruiting of leaders for worship, etc.

Outreach Committees
Committees serving Christ and the church through the serving the community and beyond!
Social Ministry & Missons
The Social Ministry and Missions committee keeps OSLC socially aware and extends Christian love, compassion, and assistance to those in need. Social ministry collaborates with faith based and social organizations to assist with needs in our wider community (food, shelter, social justice issues, etc.).

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one ministry to someone who is hurting (e.g., Care Receiver). It is quiet, confidential, compassionate, and provides a listening witness to the caring presence of Christ and His community. Stephen ministry serves OSLC members and members of our wider community.

Administrative Committees
Committees serving Christ and the church through the essential administrative and business functions of OSLC.

Finance Committee
The finance committee is entrusted with the stewardship and oversight of the financial affairs of OSLC, ensuring that finances are in good order and that best financial practices are being followed.

Personnel Committee
The personnel committee is entrusted to be the human resources coordinator for the congregation, developing and reviewing the personnel manual, updating job descriptions, and conducting reviews of staff.

Cemetery Committee
The cemetery committee is entrusted with the management and the care of our three cemeteries. The committee provides a place of internment for members and former members of OSLC.

Facility Committees
Committees serving Christ and the church through oversight and care of our facilities so that we can best serve the congregation and the community.
Hall Committee
The Hall Committee is entrusted with items relating to the oversight and the usage of our facilities, including usage requests (one time and long-term), putting in place safety and usage policies and procedures.

Commercial Kitchen Committee
The Commercial Kitchen Committee is entrusted with the oversight and the usage of our commercial kitchen. They work with members of OSLC and members of the community and their usage of the kitchen. They oversee leasing and policies of the kitchen.
